The Bay of Roses north of Barcelona is set against a splendid backdrop of the Pyrenees and the French / Spanish border. Some of the most challenging sailing in the Med can be found here. With strong consistent winds blowing south from the Gulf de Lyon all year, this area is a sailing paradise.
Costa Brava Sailing's new base in L’Escala offers full modern marina facilities with access directly to an unspoilt cruising area. The Bay of Roses has 5 good marinas and a host of safe overnight anchorages to choose from. You can charter a yacht as part of a flotilla, bareboat, take a skippered charter, or choose from a range of RYA tuition on one of our recognized RYA courses.
If you are already in the Bay of Roses area, you can have RYA Tuition on board your own yacht, taught by one of our RYA Yachtmaster Instructors; we also assess and test for the International Certificate of Competence.
From our new base in L’Escala in the Bay of Roses - Spain, we can offer all RYA Tuition and Courses, Sailing Holidays, and own-boat tuition to yachtsman seeking a new cruising area or to those of you already here in Estartit, Empuriabrava, Santa Margarita, and Port Roses.
